Nine Flowers Guest House is very centrally located, and the inner city can be reached on foot within a few minutes.
Trendy Long and Kloof Streets with their shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are only 5 minutes away, as are Parliament, the National Museum, National Art Gallery, St. Georges Cathedral and many other sights.
Just across the road is the tranquil Company`s Garden. The V & A Waterfront is a mere 5 minutes drive away, and the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay can be reached within 10 minutes.

Cape Town has a lot of excellent restaurants and we are very fortunate that some of them are very close to our guest house. You don't need to take a car to get there. So you will also be able to enjoy the superb wines. Please find below just a small choice of our favourite restaurants.
Aubergine, 139 Barnet Street, Gardens
This top restaurant is very close to Nine Flowers Guest House. You just walk around the corner and then you will see it. Aubergine serves contemporary food with a lovely blend of Asian and western influences. The menu is paired with excellent wines and good service. A sophisticated and serene ambience certainly adds an extra edge to the fine dining experience.
Open: Wed - Fri for lunch, and Mon - Sat for Cinq a Sept and dinner.
Societi Bistro, 50 Orange Street, Gardens
Located in a charming Georgian house on Orange Street in Gardens (just a 6 minutes walk from Nine Flowers Guest House), Societi is informal, yet elegant. A place to relax with friends and soak up the warm vibes of the classic interior. On chilly days, an inviting fireplace keeps everyone warm while on hot summer days, the outside garden draws diners for the soothing breeze and uninterrupted views of Table Mountain.Societi is famous for its seasonal produce and local ingredients. Societi’s wine list provides choice selections from the best estates and cultivars in the Western Cape. Most bottles cost less than R100 and nearly all are available by the glass.

Sweet Plum Cafe, Wandel Street off Dunkley Square, Gardens
This is a cozy cafe in our neighbourhood. The Sweet Plum cafe serves delicious home-style food, sweet treats, organic coffee. Their speciality wheat and gluten free quinoa chocolate cake is to live for, not to mention their mouth watering "eat right 4 your type" biscuits.
Open: Mon - Fri from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
